Europe travel in ban for long of time

Widespread confusion and frantic Googling characterized the primary several hours of President Trump's coronavirus-induced Europe travel ban.
Trump told on Wednesday that the US "will be forbidden all travel from Europe to us for the subsequent 30 days."

The ban, slated to start on Friday, only applies to foreign nationals, not Americans , their immediate relations and legal permanent residents.
Returning travelers are going to be screened before entering the US and asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.
The ban also doesn't apply to all or any of Europe, but currently stretches only to countries within the Schengen zone, which allows free movement through European Union countries.
This sudden move, and therefore the uncertainty round the exact details, prompted panic among travelers getting to transit between Europe and therefore the US in upcoming weeks.
'Banning travel from the entire continent doesn't seem fair'
Even though the principles only inherit effect this Friday evening, Fanny Alda Putri canceled her Thursday flight to l. a. because she didn't want to require any risks.
The 28-year-old Indonesian, who may be a Dutch resident, said the ban led her to abandon an eight-day holiday to California, leaving her $2,000 out of pocket.
However, banning travel from the entire continent doesn't seem fair," Putri told CNN, adding that she remains waiting on Delta Air Lines to offer her guidance about whether she is going to get a refund.Meanwhile, Simon P, a French cybersecurity expert who lives in Luxembourg and declined to offer his surname , told CNN that he canceled his first holiday in 18 months following the travel ban announcement.

He said that a number of the hotels he called told him they were fielding thousands of cancellations from Europeans, adding that the ban didn't make much sense logically.
"All the cash i used to be close to spend within the US are going to be spent during a country that accepts me," he said.
